First Recruitment Round Successfully Closed with Over 450 Applications

The first recruitment round for the GENIUS Doctoral Network project officially closed on 30 November 2025, and we are thrilled to share that we received an extraordinary level of interest. In total, more than 450 applications were submitted from across Europe and beyond. The analytics image above from our website highlights the impressive geographical reach and diversity of talent attracted to the GENIUS Doctoral Network.

This strong response reflects both the relevance of the project aims and the appeal of the opportunities offered within GENIUS-DN. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to apply and share their motivation.

Our selection committee is now reviewing all eligible applications. We will ensure that all applicants are contacted with the outcome of their application before 19 December 2025.
